2024 Introductory Mediation Training Announcement
In partnership with Placer Dispute Resolution, we are pleased to announce our 2024 Basic Mediation Training.

When: This three day intensive training session will be held September 19, 20 & 21 2024, from 8:30am to 5:30pm.

Where: The training will be held at the Parkside Church in Auburn at: 3885 Richardson Dr, Auburn, CA 95602

Training Fee:
Early Bird Registration = $395 (deadline is August 19th, 2024), Regular Registration = $445; group discounts and limited scholarships are also available - contact us for details. Registration includes lunch and snacks.

Training Description:
During this 25-hour basic mediation skills training, participants will learn how to convene and open a mediation, facilitate communication, encourage problem solving, balance neutrality and fairness, and much more. Participants will discover effective ways to settle differences and mediate disputes across a variety of contexts. This program will provide participants with core mediation skills and training, along with hands-on experience as a mediator in a variety of simulations.

Participants who complete the course will receive a certificate as a certified mediator. This training (or an equivalent mediation training) is a prerequisite for application to be a volunteer mediator for either Placer Dispute Resolution or the Conflict Resolution Center of Nevada County.
